Hiiro Kagami

"There is nothing I cannot cut," - Hiiro's catchphrase when wanting to cut something.

Hiiro Kagami (鏡 飛彩 Kagami Hiiro) is the secondary Rider of Kamen Rider Ex-Aid. He is a surgeon in Seito University Hospital, who is also the son of Haima Kagami. He uses the Taddle franchise gashats and a Gamer Driver to transform into Kamen Rider Brave. He is portrayed by Toshiki Seto.

History

Personality

Hiiro is intelligent and is good at his profession, a surgeon, but can be cold and arrogant at times. He also refuses to have personal involvements with his patients, as he had said, it will ruin his performance. Hiiro also doesn't like to show emotion to anyone, describing that doctors can't have emotions, or else they're no doctors.

He also looks down on Emu Houjou a lot, looking at him with his lack of experience and him not being a worthy doctor to the CR, but as the series progress in, he gets closer with his intern. 

Hiiro is also shown to eat sweets a lot, mainly cakes or pies. Later, it was actually revealed that Hiiro doesn't actually like desserts, but he eats anyways for a memento of Saki Momose, his deceased girlfriend, who always offer him it. Thinking about Saki reminds him about revenge, and is it worth or not. He remembers that it can get over your head until it swallows you fully, in just a matter of time, like it did to Taiga.

He also treats Bugsters like an operation, and sometimes would do some competitions of who can cure the patient or defeat the Bugster first. He refers his Gashacon Sword as a scalpel, and everything he uses to cut as a scalpel. Even a knife in a cafe, which makes people unable to understand what he truly wants.

Hiiro also has a polite mannerism, responding with formal sentences. But if he feels bugged and annoyed with a person he doesn't like, he will respond "no thank you".

However, after Hiiro knew the existence of Kamen Rider Chronicle, and the part of it able to revive the dead, he was hired by Masamune Dan. He tricked the surgeon to working for him to revive his deceased girlfriend, which turned into shams.

Hiiro also shows a very bitter attitude to Taiga Hanaya, as he was the one responsible for killing his girlfriend through Graphite's infection. And in return, Taiga holds a grudge with Hiiro too.

If he wanted her revived, he has to kill Taiga, but he couldn't take the chance. Yet, the conflict really injured his heart, and therefore he wept for what he had to commit.

Transformations

Hiiro uses the Gamer Driver for his transformation gear. He places it on his abdomen and takes out his primary gashat and places it to his first slot, before opening the door and transform into level 1, as the jingle plays. Then, he opens the flap on the Gamer Driver to transform into level 2.

For him to use any other gashat, he places it into his second slot of the Driver. For him to transform into Taddle Fantasy, he turns the gashat to the blue spot facing top and puts it in the two slots.
